Schade das es eigentlich alles bekannte Gesichter sind, obwohl man es sich bei Aki irgendwie denken konnte und bei manch anderem auch...
Ich wäre für einen temporären Bann von einem Tag und falls es nochmals vorkommt für eine Woche dann einen Monat und dann ein Jahr.
So gibt man ihnen vielleicht noch die Chance sich zu bessern.

Ich schließe mich der Bestrafungsdauer, die Arny hier vorschlägt an. Man kann hier keinem Unwissenheit anrechnen, alle haben dies vorsätzlich getan und dann im Nachhinein noch groß rumgeheult, dass andere einen Speedhack nutzen würden.
Das Ganze ist vorsätzlich geschehen und gehört direkt richtig bestraft.

I agree with arny's statement. It's a designed action to manipulated it's tactical ops to move or to shoot faster than normal player. So, in my opinion there's no other possibility than banning them for a long time e.g. 6 months like aRny said.

Ui Water gibts doch noch in TO^^

Naja ich bin eher der, der den Leuten vielleicht nochmals eine zweite wenn nicht sogar dritte Chance gibt, denn jeder hat mindestens eine zweite Chance verdient und dort gleich mit einem 6 Monatsbann zu kommen wäre vielleicht etwas übertrieben.
Ich kam kaum in Kontakt mit solchen Leuten, deswegen kann ich mich nicht so darüber äußern, jedoch finde ich das nicht richtig was diese Leute angestellt haben, noch will ich es verharmlosen.

Sie sollen ihre Bestrafung bekommen, dafür bin ich, jedoch muss abgewägt werden in welchem Maße.

Ich würde erstmal einen Monatsbann vorschlagen und danach den 6 Monatsbann. Vielleicht machen es welche unwissentlich, denn dies ist wirklich schwer nachweißbar.

Bannen und zwar länger als eine Woche, vielleicht nicht grad ein Jahr, aber sicher eine längere Zeit (1-6 Monate). Für mich fällt das nämlich in die Kategorie, ich wollte doch nur mal sehen wie ein Radar aussieht. Tja Pech gehabt, echt nice Arbeit ESE :-)

Stimme mal für Ban und zwar für eine Dauer die auch weh tut.
Sowas wird ja nicht ausversehen gemacht, sondern bewusst und sobalds wie mehr als einmal ist, ist es auch kein testen mehr.
Ist eh schon fraglich warum man sowas "online" testen muss....

was ich meine: ich hätte den cheat ja nie ausprobiert wenn kago im to-live forum nicht gesagt hätte, wir könnten momentan nichts dagegen machen, weil notebookuser den befehl brauchen...ich ging also auf den server um es auszuprobieren mit dem wissen, dass nichts passiert wenn ich das mache..

das kago im to-live forum einfach lügt und so auf hinterhältige art unschuldige möchtegern tweaker wie mich ertappt, ist natürlich sehr fragwürdig. deshalb plädiere ich, wenn überhaupt für einen kurzen ban!

this guy Remus.gL means, that evry good and skilled TO-Player is in Cbook, so cheating is a regular thing for him,

Hi, bedenkt nur wie groß bzw. wie klein unsere to com. schon ist wenn wir jeden gleich für ein Jahr bannen sind 1000 Server online und Spieler ca. 1050 geile Sache ;) ich finde auch bannen aber nur kurz damit es sich nicht lohnt eine neue Installation aufzuspielen und alle aus der to scene zu verscheuchen sollten wir auch nicht
Was das Thema Unwissenheit angeht wie kann ich nicht wissen was ich tue? Wenn man einen Cheat ausführt das will ich ihn doch oder?

Ich meine man kann ja durchaus verstehen das man neugierig darauf ist, wie es sich anfühlt so zu spielen oder wie es sich generell verhält mit einem Cheat oder Hack. Wenn ich sehen will wie es aussieht gehe ich auf Youtube und tippe da TacOps + Radar etc ein und bin zufrieden.

Vllt wurde ich auch noch mit anderen Prinzipien erzogen....

Ausserdem haben ALLE beim installieren von ESE akzeptiert das sie nix testen oder probieren sollen. und da ist es auch SCHEISS EGAL was Kago in irgend nem andern Forum zum Speedhack gesagt hat...

Die Welt kann so einfach sein, wenn man sie versteht...

Ich bleib lieber den Rest meines Lebens nen Teil der TacOps comm der nicht über mittelmaß hinauskam, als mich mit irgend nem scheiss besser zu pfuschen.
Zu wissen das ich nie irgendwas benutzt habe und trotzdem in vielen Offis als Cheater verdächtigt wurde, fühlt sich garantiert besser an als alles unehrlich wegzuhauen. Aber mit nem Cheater über gewissen zu reden ist nicht meine Aufgabe...da haben vorher andere versagt :D

His name is Log, Silent Log.

So grab yourself a vodka martini "shaken, not stirred" and keep reading!

His mission in the world was to go undercover, behind enemy lines and bug out those using n' abusing the CPU-Speed Hack. Many many people (we lost count) came to me, (Mrs Log) and complained that we should stop the cpuspeed 'hole'.

The problem was that some Notebook-Users required the CPU string command to run TO correctly and until now, we could not differentiate between real usage and abuse. We have now found a solution how to detect the real clock and can compare that with the cpuspeed command line value.

This way, we were able to detect those using the CPUspeed to their own benefit and not including the Notebook-Users.

Back on track to MI6 headquarters.. we bring Silent Log back to the forefront.
I sent my other half, Mr Log to infiltrate the abuses and covertly kept track of all players who used the cpuspeed parameter, a speedhack (with either minimial or maximum effect).

The very interesting point is... we mean REALLY interesting.. and even slightly funny...

Is he ONLY logged users that complained about the speedhack!
No other players used the Speedhack. [update: this was until Saturday. On Saturday was a Thread on a Community-page about the Speedh4x - so some 'new' Users tested it too]
WTF. Are you all stupid? Paranoid?

Seriously, only those that highlighted the vunerability in the past about that disallowed tweak/cheat used it in the time Mr. Log was active. (Make note, we only started logging recently, way after the people reported the problems to us, yet they continued to use it there onwards).

Thats like saying "I hate all the Cheaters in TO" but use Cheats too. @_@ - Even for a women who contradicts herself with every word.. like me.. this still goes beyond my capabilities...

So here is a List of all the people who got documented by Mr. Log since Wednesday (18.02.2009):


Note:
The Clannicks:
You see there a Membership history. Note please that in the first Weeks, ESE had there a Bug.
So it is possible that some players miss a JOIN Date but leave the Clan.

The Date:
This is the Date when someone join or left a Clan

used Speedhack:
This is when a Player connected to a Server.

The total Report Number:
While a Player plays TO and ESE has "Log only" activated, it create every ~3 Minutes a new Report.
This happen because ESE detect a Cheat and want to kill that Player but isn't allowed to do this.
So you can see about the 'total Reports' Number how often / long the User used the Speedhack.

As a result of the flame, spam, threat should be everyone banned for a long time.
Analytically considered isit an Engine Exploide which result in a 20 day ban - even if the result of this Exploid is bigger than every other Exploid. So the 1-time-tester can cry now and the many-time-tester can be happy but normally you can test something like that 1 time on ESE and you will be banned directly.

Heute möchten wir euch einen neuen ESE Special Agent vorstellen.
Sein Name ist Mr. Log, Silent Log.

Sein Auftrag in dieser Welt war, festzustellen wie viele Benutzer diesen CPU-Speed Hack nutzen.
Sehr viele User kamen zu uns und beschwerten sich darüber, dass wir diesen cpuspeed schrott stoppen sollten.
Das Problem besteht darin, dass einige viele Notebook-User diesen Befehl benötigen um vernünftig TO spielen zu können, da TO nicht in der Lage ist die richtige Taktfrequenz zu ermitteln.
Nun fanden wir eine Lösung, die echte Taktfrequenz zu ermitteln und können diese mit dem cpuspeed Wert vergleichen. Somit killen wir nicht alle Notebooknutzer aus TO raus, wenn man den Befehl komplett verbieten würde.
Aber last uns zurückkommen zu Mr. Log.
Mr. Log machte sich auf den Weg, in diese große hässliche Welt und loggte Spieler, die diesen Befehl missbrauchten und somit einen möglichen Speed-Hack haben.

Der sehr, sehr interessante Punkt ist... ich mein wirklich hochinteressant .. oder besser lustig...

ES wurden NUR User geloggt, die sich über diesen Speedhack vorher beschwert hatten. Ansonsten nutzte keiner diesen Speedhack. WTF. Seid ihr dumm? Paranoid? Echt - nur Spieler, die sich vorher über diesen Tweak/Cheat aufgeregt hatten, haben in der Zeit als Mr. Log aktiv war diesen Speedhack genutzt.
[update: Das war so zumindest bis Samstag. Am Samstag gab es dann einen Beitrag darüber auf TO-Live und seitdem gabs auch 'neue' User die es dann unbedingt ausprobieren mussten]
Das ist genauso wie wenn ich sage "Ich hasse alle Cheater in TO" benutzte aber selbst auch Cheats.

Hier ist eine Liste von Benutzern, die von Mr.Log seit Mittwoch (18.02.2009) geloggt wurden.


Hinweise zur Liste:
Die Clannicks:
Die Clannick stellen eine Clanzugehörigkeitshistory dar. Bitte beachtet, dass es zum Anfang von ESE einen Bug bei der History gab, weswegen bei einigen unter Umständen das join Datum fehlt, sie dafür aber den Clan irgendwann verlassen.

Date:
Datum, wann derjenige dem Clan beitrat oder verließ.

used Speedhack:
Das ist das Datum als ein Spieler auf dem Gameserver connected.

Die total Report Number:
Währendessen ein Spieler TO spielt und ESE nur auf "Log Only" steht, wird etwa alle 3 Minuten ein neuer Report geschrieben.
Das passiert, da ESE einen Cheat entdeckt und den Spieler killen will, es aber nicht darf. 3 Minuten später entdeckt es wieder dass der Spieler eig. Cheatet und schreibt einen neuen Report und darf wieder nicht den Spieler killen. Deswegen kann man anhand der 'total Reports' Anzahl sehen wie oft / lang ein User den Speedhack nutzte.

Aufgrund des ganzen geflames, gespammes, gedrohe hätte da jeder eine sehr lange Auszeit verdient.
Analytisch betrachtet handelt es sich um einen Engine Exploid für den es von uns 20 Tage gibt - auch wenn die Wirkungen des Exploids heftiger ist als bei allen anderen Exploits. Da freuen sich die Vieltester von mir aus und weinen die Einmaltester. Im Normalfall hätten alle es nur einmal testen können und wären direkt von ESE gebannt worden.
